Are there any second chance apartments in Indianapolis?

I had a situation about five years ago where we were forced to walk out on a lease with a complex because my fiance lost his job. They are now being paid through a garnishment on my check ( which I am trying to settle on) But anyways ,my fiance and I have split up and I have got custody of my 6 year old son. I am trying hard to get into an area of Indy that is considered atleast "safe" for him to grow up but No one will give me a chance because I had a hard time in my life five years ago. Forget the fact that I am good about paying my monthly bills and have held a supervisor position for the last 3 years. No one cares. I was told there are some second chance complexes but that they don't really advertise. I tried to google it but found nothing. Can ANYONE help me here?
