Windows Vista and illegal software?

hey everyone, before Vista came out I heard alot of things about it and illegal software and media. I heard that it deletes unlicensed software without notifying the user and all kinds of outrageous things. I have a legal copy of Vista Ultimate, but I'm wary about installing it until this is cleared up. Are any of these claims about Vista true?
