For ex girlfriends?

i broke up w/ my ex in april, and we have stayed in contact since but i wouldnt commit back to her. Now sh has distanced herself from me and now i realize i love her and I am showing it. which is what i never did. I tell her this and we are talking more and have gone out and had fun together but I didnt try to kiss her or anything. I ask her to get back together and she sys she wants to make sure this is what she wants again. I am trying to figure out if she is just insecure about me or if she has truly fallen out of love.
