Is labor near or baby playing tricks???

hey guys im 40 weeks today, so yesterday i walked the hill close to my house which is about 2 miles, then last night played a game of skittles ( which is very simalar to ten pin bowling) i play in a ladies team.. got home and was up untill 3am with very iregular contractions, then all stopped, so today to keep busy i went shopping, and getting a few tightnings but nothing major, is baby on his way or can i be like this now for the next 2 weeks?
