Hard to tell. Based on what you have told me everything seems in check. It's OK for a lawyer to make an appearance for a client so long as it's not a felony. Since you're represented by counsel, the police and court would not contact you but him. It does not seem unusual that you have not heard from your lawyer in 3 days. I would try giving him/her a call.
