What has most likely happened is an error in your account, in the coding. See each link has coding and sometimes different programs get it mixed up, especially on the internet. Your emails probably didn't go through defective should check, ie. ask someone you know in person if they got your last email. You should contact gmail help centre (contact the forum) to get help on this. It may mean your account is in repair for a few hours or days.
