What do i get someone for christmas who im not officially dating?

so heres my first problem. we're not ACTUALLY together. no boyfriend girlfriend titles. but i mean, it is pretty much a done deal that we'll be together in a few weeks. i know that he is getting me several christmas gifts, with more a sentimental rather than monetary value. he told me i really didnt have to get him something but i would just feel awful without getting him ANYTHING. prblem #2. i am 100% broke. i was recently robbed and really dont even have a cent to my name. so what can i get this guy for christmas that will mean something, without costing anything. help!!!
