What is the University of Washington like? Weather? Premed Program?

Ok, well i'm from GA, and i lOVE LOVE rain. I know that the University of Washington is a good school, but i'm a republican and a christian. I heard that Seattle is like the Liberal capitol of the US, and i heard it's very very un-christian. Is that right? Does it rain there? Snow?
