How can i convince my parents to let me go snowboarding during hockey season?

alright so last year on opening day i broke my arm snowboarding on opening day in november, and now my parents wont let me snowboard during hockey season because its so much money..but i love snowboarding so much and i NEED to go, whenever i see like a snowboard vid or mag i freak out at the thought of me not getting to go.
