Is there anybody who knows about back pain? Very painful upper back pain!?

Hi...I just thought I'd ask about pain I have been having in/on my upper back for the last three days. two days ago the pain started at night around 9:30pm on my upper back, just below the shoulder blades and above the lower back. It lasted for about an hour then faded. Yesturday night again, same thing, same time frame more or less. And now I woke up early this morning 7:30am with it being very painful, wether i lie down, sit, stand it does'nt matter it's aching really bad. When I take a deep breath the pain in my back sharpens even more. Can someone maybe give some general clarification? Thanks
